One of the most spectacular takeover cases in the Netherlands in 2017 was the bidding war on TMG, the Dutch Euronext Amsterdam listed media company. The case ended with the successful bid by Belgian Mediahuis. Dutch lawyers’ magazine “Mr.” qualified the TMG deal as “The deal of the year” and recently published an animated round table interview with the lawyers involved in the TMG case, amongst which the partners of Kemperink Maarschalkerweerd.
