The leading Dutch corporate law journal Ondernemingsrecht (volume 2018/12) published an article by Guus Kemperink on the supervision by the supervisory board of Dutch listed companies with an executive board (ExCo). The article discusses the role and the responsibilities of the supervisory board in the context of the setting up of an ExCo. Also, it is concluded that the installation of an ExCo does not lead to any changes to the accountability of the managing board vis-à-vis the supervisory board.
