Our firm advised SAPA S.p.A. on the acquisition of 100% of the share capital of Promens Zevenaar (the Netherlands) and Promens Rongu (Estonia) from Berry Global, Inc. The two acquired companies achieve a total turnover of over 100 million euro and employ over 600 people.
SAPA is an Italian industrial group specializing in the production of cutting-edge components for the mobility industry. The company is particularly known for its One-Shot® technology. It is a direct supplier of well-known car manufacturers like Volkswagen Group, Stellantis, CNH, Iveco, BMW Group and Rolls Royce. With this acquisition, the SAPA group further expands its actvivites in the truck sector with major customers including Volvo, Scania and Daimler Truck.
Berry Global, Inc. is a NYSE listed Fortune 500 global manufacturer and marketer of plastic packaging products.
Italian firm BonelliErede acted as lead counsel for SAPA.
