Rob is a highly experienced corporate lawyer and a trusted advisor to corporates, private equity firms and institutional investors on domestic and cross-border transactions. His practice focuses on carve-outs, strategic acquisitions, divestments and other transformational deals. Rob has extensive experience leading complex, multi-jurisdictional transactions, navigating sophisticated deal structures and advising on the full spectrum of regulatory and governance matters. Rob was admitted to the Amsterdam Bar in 2005 and began his career at a leading Dutch law firm. In 2017-2018, he gained invaluable in-house experience as senior legal counsel at ABN AMRO, advising on M&A and corporate governance matters.
Rob obtained his law degree from the University of Amsterdam in 2005 and, in the same year completed the International Business Transactions and Law master’s program at Amsterdam Nyenrode Law School.
In addition to his native Dutch, Rob is fluent in English.
